The Great Commission

The Great Commission is one of the final commands, that Jesus gave to his followers. To go out and make disciples of all nations, by baptizing and teaching them to obey everything He commanded. 

NIV Matthew 28:18-20

18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” 

EXAMPLES of HOW Christians can live out the Great Commission are by:

• having faith in the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit
• developing a relationship with the Holy Spirit
• discerning when the Holy Spirit is speaking
• following the guidance of the Holy Spirit

Also by:

• actively reading and studying the Bible
• maintaining an active prayer life
• having fellowship with other Christians
• traveling to different places and people
• sharing their faith
• sharing their testimonies
• teaching people how to follow Christ
• being an example that others can learn from
• planting seeds that will lead others to Christ
• giving prayer and blessings in Jesus' name
• baptizing in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit
