I had been forced out of my two story condo and I wasn't happy that someone was able to purchase over 80% of the residences where I live and eventually obtain my forever home.
But, I was able to get more money than they wanted to pay, because of the help from a good friend. However, it wasn't going to be enough money to buy another condo of the same size, since the market had exploded.
This meant that I was going to have to downgrade into a mobile or possibly have to start looking for a room to rent. It did help though, that the buyer offered to help me move using his trucks and employees that he employed at his company. The move took several trips, several trucks and about half a dozen men and after that last load, they finally were able to drive away. To return one last time a few months later, to help retrieve my remaining things from storage.
I then found myself looking at maybe 60 boxes to unpack and no ambition to do anything except watch TV and sleep on the floor, since I had left most of my furniture behind. However my friend, the person that had helped me, was very persistent in letting me know that I needed to complete my repairs and to start unpacking and he also wanted to come over to see my place and had been waiting for almost a year.
Eventually, my friend's pressure paid off. The repairs were completed, the new paint was put on and the floors were laid. The unpacking began, leading to the completion of a self contained home, that is very comfortable.
Soon after completing the work and getting settled in, God speaks to me.
